Short version: we don't sell your data, we don't track you across the web, and we ask Twitch for the minimum we need to make the product work. The longer version is below.
What we collect
- Twitch profile: when you sign in with Twitch we receive your user ID, display name, and profile image. We never post on your behalf and never modify your account.
- Email: we ask Stripe for the email you used at checkout so we can send you alerts you've opted into. We don't use it for marketing.
- Stream history: if you have an active subscription, we poll the public Twitch API every few minutes to see when you go live and store a row in our database with the game, start/end time, and viewer counts. This is the same information that's already public on Twitch.
- Subscription state: Stripe stores your payment details, not us. We only see the subscription status (active, trialing, canceled).
- Usage analytics: we use Vercel Analytics, which is cookie-free and doesn't identify individual users.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- We don't share it with advertisers.
- We don't set tracking cookies.
- We don't post to your Twitch account.
